Lemon Garlic Prawn Tagliatelle

This easy, healthy pasta recipe packs a fresh punch with lemon, garlic and parsley. A perfect, quick dish for a weekday evening!

  • 170 g raw prawns
  • 150 g dried tagliatelle
  • 100 g creme fraiche
  • 25 g unsalted butter
  • 1 lemon (juice only)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Handful of parsley
  • Pinch of salt and pepper


  • Add the pasta and a pinch of salt to boiling water and simmer for 9 minutes. Meanwhile, finely chop the garlic and parsley.
  • In another pan, heat your butter until melted and frothing. Add the garlic and fry for around a minute until it starts to brown slightly. Next, add the prawns and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the parsley, lemon juice and Creme fraiche to the pan with a pinch of salt and pepper and mix. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken slightly.
  • By now your pasta should be cooked. Add to the other ingredients and stir into the sauce. Serve immediately with extra parsley to garnish.


Top tip: Serve with a side dish of fried portobello mushrooms (pictured)
