This creamy guacamole works perfectly as a dip and tastes great when added to Mexican food. Make sure the onion is a fresh as possible for the best crunch but make sure the avocados are ripe to avoid the wrong crunch!

  • 2 avocados (ripe)
  • 1 lime (juice only)
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 red chilli (deseeded)
  • 1/2 red onion
  • handful coriander
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Pinch salt and pepper


  • Remove the flesh from the avocado and place in a mixing bowl with the lime juice, garlic powder, olive oil, salt and pepper. Mash the mixture with the back of a fork until it reaches the desired consistency.
  • Finely dice the onion and chilli and roughly chop the coriander. Add to the avocado and mix.
