Ingredients

  • 20 g oil (used a flavourless or nutty oil, we used walnut)
  • 150 g maple syrup
  • 30 g runny honey
  • 1 orange (zest)
  • 325 g rolled oats
  • 60 g sunflower seeds
  • 50 g hazelnuts
  • 10 g chia seeds
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 50 g dried cherries
  • 50 g dried cranberries
  • 50 g raisins

Instructions

  • Mix all of the ingredients apart from the dried fruit in a large bowl. Spread evenly on 1 or multiple baking trays and bake for 45 minutes at 140°C (fan).
  • Remove from the oven and distribute the dried fruit evenly throughout. Place back in the oven for another 30 minutes.
  • Allow the granola to cool fully on the baking trays before you add to a tupperware or box.

Notes

We love this combination of hazelnut and dried fruits but there are so many options when it comes to what to put in your granola. Try coconut flakes, almonds, or apricots to name a few.
